The low heat thermal spray processing removes any further issues of repairing other areas due to heat distortion compared to other viable but less efficient processing for this specific application. The keyway showed no signs of further repair on initial inspection but care on this area is considered critical to make sure edges are blended on adjacent thermal sprayed areas.
