Coating thickness is evenly applied across the contoured shape of each tube and confirmed thickness is documented to meet quality requirements. Material and thermal spray process are determined by considering location in the boiler. Abrasion, corrosion and temperature issues are discussed between design engineers their customer to determine tube material and design. Either established material and thermal spray process procedures are specified or ASB Industries may recommend a complete thermal spray protection system. In house testing facilities are utilized along with the expertise of ASB's metallurgist. Most important to the processing is equipment reliability and experienced thermal spray technicians. From the separate control room, the highly trained and experienced ASB thermal spray technician monitors critical equipment process parameters to provide a quality surfaced component.
