ASB Industries Volunteer Support for North American Cold Spray Conference at IMAT
The North American Cold Spray Conference will be a two-day event being held in St. Louis as a result of postponing the event from Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
Dr. Reza Daroonparvar and Mr. Charles Kay are involved with the international Organizing Committee as Volunteers from ASB Industries. Through concept, planning and the final Program the Committee with the guidance of ASM International has put together a diverse program with notable speakers from around the globe. Based on direct input from the Committee, the speakers are a diverse group giving a “wide view” of insights to Cold Spray science, applications and equipment.
Dr. Reza Daroonparvar is a member of the Organizing Committee and also presenting during two day event. The descriptive title explains work being conceptualized and cold sprayed at ASB Industries. The paper, Applying Zr702 Layer on Commercially Pure Aluminum Coated Magnesium Alloy Using Cold Spray Process will be presented during the first day of the Conference.
ASB Industries continues to be an active volunteer in the Thermal Spray Society involved in leadership positions and Committees, volunteer Editor of the iTSSE, the local Akron ASM Chapter and participation at the International Conferences. Our involvement allows us to interact with Universities where there is direct research using thermal spray and cold spray technologies along with a group of international equipment and material suppliers and other companies involved in a variety of industries using thermal spray technologies.
